Chief Executive Officer
With over +25 years of experience in mining, exploration, and capital equipment, Chris Huggings started as a geologist with Homestake. He contributed to major Canadian mining projects and has since led multiple gold, uranium, and battery metal companies as President, CEO, and board member. Chris’ expertise spans strategic leadership, innovative solutions, and sustainable growth, including key roles with Collective Metals Inc. and Troubadour Resources Inc. His leadership at Auric Minerals focuses on operational excellence and delivering stakeholder value.

Mr. Brownrigg, a Professional Mining Engineer, brings extensive experience in operations, start-ups, and development projects across Canada, Peru, and Chile. He has led initiatives for companies like Teck, IAMGOLD, and Chariot Resources, managing coal, phosphate, copper, and gold projects. As General Manager of Marcobre SAC, he completed an $800M feasibility study for Mina Justa and advanced multiple projects in the Andes and beyond.

Mr. Valega, an Industrial Engineering graduate from the University of Lima, brings over 14 years of experience representing North American companies like Honeywell and ITT. Since 2000, he has served as a mining advisor to the Santolalla-Cajamarca group, co-managing Cia. Minera San Nicolás S.A. His expertise spans mining, transportation, legal, plant operations, metallurgy, and marketing.

Mr. Hayduk is a corporate finance professional and CFA charterholder (2003) with 25 years of global investment banking and corporate advisory experience. Mr. Hayduk has global expertise on oil and gas producers, energy infrastructure, oil and gas services, and oil and gas technology special situations. He began his career at BMO Nesbitt Burns and then spent most of his career with employee-owned Canadian boutique investment bank Orion Securities, continuing through its acquisition by Macquarie Bank, eventually serving as a director. Mr. Hayduk has served as both director and officer of numerous public and private companies.

As a chief financial officer, Kirill Samokhin is responsible for all of the company’s financial function, including accounting, audit, treasury and corporate finance. He has over 15 years of finance, international accounting, tax and risk management experience. As an independent contractor, Mr. Samokhin brings vast experience in the mining, construction and non-profit sector. Prior to joining Auric Minerals Corp. in 2023, Mr. Samokhin served as a Director of Finance for a Non-for-Profit organization. Mr. Samokhin is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor Degree of Commerce from the University of Toronto.
